Know the Laws
Before applying for your License to Carry, it’s critical to understand the laws regulating firearm use. Local and state regulations can differ significantly. You are required to ensure that your firearm use complies with the laws in the jurisdiction where you will carry it.
Competency with Firearms
Owning a firearm requires serious responsibility, much like learning to drive a car or pilot an aircraft. Proper training is necessary for your safety and others. If you’re not willing to invest the time and effort to become proficient, carrying and using a firearm may become a liability rather than a defense.
