Concealed Carry Online Application Information
To apply for your license, you must meet the following legal qualifications as specified in Section 790.06(2) & (3), Florida Statutes.
• You must be at least 21 years old.
• You must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.
• You must not have a felony conviction, or any other conviction that prohibits firearm possession.
• You must not have been committed to a mental institution or been adjudicated as mentally incompetent.
• You must not have been dishonorably discharged from the military.
• You must meet residency requirements (Florida resident or qualified non-resident).

Before starting your application, make sure you have the following ready:
Proof of Firearm Competency
You must provide a Certificate of Completion from an accredited firearms training class. This certificate must include live fire training, where you used a firearm and ammunition. If you already have this document, upload it during the application process.
Passport-Style Photo
A digital, passport-style photo taken within the last 30 days is required. The photo must be color, clear, and without any background distractions.
Note: Your driver's license or passport photo is not acceptable for this application.
Payment Method
You will need a credit card, debit card, or electronic check for payment.
Payment Fee: A 2.5% convenience fee will apply for credit/debit card payments, or a $0.50 fee for electronic checks.
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
